If you are looking for an exciting venue to see such things as ice hockey, basketball, concerts, bull riding and a whole host of other things then you really want to attend an event at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.  The indoor events arena seats just over 10,000 for some events and is the home to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.  The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team also plays some of their home games at the arena.

The Boston Celtics and the Boston Bruins regularly play preseason games at the site. Come and watch them during the preseason for a great night of entertainment.

The Arena is the largest construction project the city of Manchester ever undertook.  It is the first event center like in all of New Hampshire.

Located in the heart of downtown Manchester it hosts everything from hockey to concerts throughout the year. With the unique elliptical design the arena increases seating on the sides of the arena rather than the ends which provide outstanding sight lines for everyone.

Directions to the Arena:

From the North:

Take I-93S to Route 293.
Take exit 5 (Granite Street/Downtown).
Turn left at the bottom of the ramp.
Go through 4 lights and the arena will be on the right.
From Boston and Points South:

Take I-93N.
Approaching Manchester, take Route 293N (left hand exit).
After Brown Avenue exit, stay to the right as Route 293 bears right.
Take exit 5(Granite Street Exit).
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
The arena will be just ahead on the right.
From the Seacoast:

Go west on Route 101W/I-93S to Route 293N.
Take exit 5(Granite Street Exit).
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
The arena will be just ahead on the right.
From the West:

Take Route 101E to Route 293N.
Take exit 5(Granite Street Exit).
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
The arena will be just ahead on the right.

Alternate Routes:

Patrons traveling on I-93 may also use the Hanover Street exit to Elm Street.
Take a left onto Elm Street.
The Arena will be down on the left at the corner of Lake Avenue and Elm Street.
*Patrons coming down Route 293 from the North may bypass the Canal Street ramp and continue just ahead to Elm Street. Take a right onto Elm Street and continue to the arena located at the corner of Lake Avenue and Elm Street.

Box Office
The Verizon Wireless Arena Box Office is located just off the main lobby of the arena and is walk up sales only. Box Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm.  The Box Office will also be open three hours prior to events and at the time of ticket on-sales on Saturdays and Sundays.  Hours subject to change.
